It is a good place for bunch of friends and co-workers to go after work. You can either enjoy a sushi party here or just have some drinks with our unique appetizers.

This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Philadelphia follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Iโ€™ve been going to Yamitsuki for 4+ years. The food is amazing, the store is beautifully decorated, and the drinks are awesome. As of recently, however, the customer service has been horrible. I used to be a regular and the attitudes Iโ€™ve been getting for the past 6+ months in comparison to times prior has completely turned me off of the restaurant. There has been a couple of times I walked into the nearly empty store and been sat DIRECTLY next to another party. Iโ€™m walking couples being placed side by side with 5 empty seats following them. I find it to be very inconsiderate. If you come in during the lunch special the servers often deliberately ignore you in order to charge the full price. I know this is the case because Iโ€™ve been here plenty of times during their regular hours w/o any sort of issues being serviced. There was even one a time they tried to charge me full price even though I was well within the discounted time frameโ€ฆ I wouldโ€™ve never noticed if my friend didnโ€™t say anything. The gratuity on parties as small as 3 is also true. It is fairly recent thing they started doing and uncommon in Philadelphia as it typically starts on parties of 6. I have no problem payin

Just wanted to share our experience so others are aware. My friends and I came here as a party of four. The menu says an 18% service charge is only added for parties of six or more, so we werenโ€™t expecting any automatic gratuity. After we left, we realized a 20% gratuity had already been added to our bill. Since no one told us it was included, we also left an extra tip without realizing we were tipping twice. We reached out afterward, and they told us it was because of a โ€œWorld Cup all-you-can-eat event.โ€ The problem is that this was never mentioned to us at any point during our visit. We also got different explanations about whether the 20% charge was mandatory or just recommended, which was pretty confusing. This also wasnโ€™t our first uncomfortable experience. On a previous visit, we felt pressured about tipping and were told that the staff rely on tips, which didnโ€™t sit right with us. Not trying to bash the restaurantโ€”we just think service charges like this should be clearly communicated before customers order or pay. Just double-check your bill so you donโ€™t end up accidentally tipping twice like we did.

Went here for the first time to try it out I have seen negative reviews but still giving it a chance. I think I could had gotten to another sign seat instead I was sitting 3-4 feetโ€™s away from an I am not too sure homeless old man? I just felt abit overwhelmed just trying to finish the food and get going. The food taste great and amazing. The only issues are a sign seat.

Yamitsuki is such a great spot right in the center of Chinatown. Parking around the area can be a little risky or difficult sometimes, but honestly itโ€™s worth it โ€” you might just need to park a little farther and walk a bit. The food here is absolutely flavorful and satisfying. I highly recommend the spicy ramen if you enjoy a little heat โ€” rich broth, great flavor, and very comforting. The Mango Salmon Roll was also surprisingly amazing, fresh and perfectly balanced with sweetness and savory flavors. The takoyaki was delicious too, crispy outside and soft inside with great sauce. I also tried one of their rice bowls before and it was honestly excellent. What makes this place stand out even more is the atmosphere. It feels like a mix between a Japanese-style bar and restaurant with good music, dim lighting, and beautiful Japanese-inspired decorations that make the whole place feel cozy and stylish at the same time. Overall, this is a really nice spot for ramen, sushi, drinks, and late-night vibes in Chinatown. Definitely worth trying if youโ€™re in Philly.

I've visited a few times and the ramen is always excellent. The overall atmosphere is hit or miss. Sometimes the staff is very welcoming and other times, it can feel like you're bothering them. Prices are okay so this place is reserved for special nights out.
